Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy
Please read the booking terms below carefully.
Every booking, once confirmed, constitutes a contract under current Italian law. The contract is binding for the person making the booking and for all other individuals mentioned therein, including minors.
Booking
- You can book online by following the instructions available on our website www.locandadatoto.it.
- Confirmation of the booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to verify the accuracy of the confirmation details and to notify us as soon as possible of any discrepancies. Communication must be received within 4 days of receipt. After this period, we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.
- Upon arrival, it is mandatory to present identification for each person.
- To make changes to your booking, please contact the reception staff, who will do their utmost to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of such requests. In case of rescheduling to a period with higher rates than the amount paid, the guest is required to pay the difference.
Telephone or Email Booking
- You can book by sending an availability request via email (info@locandadatoto.it) or by contacting us by telephone (010 – 2543879 / 375 – 5620089) and awaiting our response.
- Following your request, you will receive a (non-binding) offer. The booking is considered confirmed upon our written communication, stating the total price of the stay and the deposit amount to be paid within 3 days of our confirmation. If payment is not made within the required timeframe, the booking is considered void. The booking becomes binding for “Locanda da Toto” only upon receipt of a copy of the deposit payment receipt or credit card details for authorized charge. Please send a copy of the payment via email (info@locandadatoto.it).
- At this point, Locanda da Toto will send the guest a confirmation email or summary voucher to be presented at check-in.
Payment
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer and credit card.
Payment by bank transfer:
- A confirmation deposit (excluding tourist tax and optional services) is required within 3 days of booking confirmation. In case of non-receipt of the deposit by the indicated dates, the booking is void. The same applies to the balance. In case of non-payment of the balance, the booking will be canceled.
- The confirmation deposit amount is 30% of the stay amount for up to 3 nights, while for longer stays it is 50% of the total amount. As provided by the Civil Code under Article 1385, it will not be refunded in case of cancellation or no-show.
- The booking balance must be paid, together with any extras, at check-in.
- For bank transfer payments, the details are as follows:

Send a copy of the transfer receipt via email: info@locandadatoto.it indicating your booking date, telephone number, and email address; you will receive confirmation.
Credit Card Payment:
- Locanda da Toto reserves the right to verify the validity of the credit card before the guest’s arrival by requesting pre-authorization from the card network. With pre-authorization, the establishment ensures temporary availability of the total stay amount, or part thereof, to ensure the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS CHARGED.
- Payment via POS will take place at check-in.
- Pre-authorization expires automatically 7 days from the request date and the amount is released. In case of unsuccessful pre-authorization, the guest will be notified and the booking will be canceled. In this case, the hotel has no obligation to the guest.
Advance Payment, “Non-Refundable”:
- If this special rate is booked, the full amount is charged to the credit card or requested via bank transfer. The full amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. Different payment terms may apply during certain periods. Please refer to your booking confirmation.
Extension of Stay:
- Extension of stay requires an additional booking and is subject to availability and rate changes.
Cancellation Policy (individual bookings)
- All booking cancellations must be communicated in writing. For cancellation conditions, please refer to your booking confirmation.
- In case of cancellation or changes made up to 5 days before the scheduled arrival date, no charge will be applied. For cancellations or changes beyond this period, the total amount of the booked stay will be charged to the credit card provided as guarantee.
- This cancellation policy is not valid for the discounted Non-Refundable rate (in this case, the booking amount will be charged at the time of reservation and will not be refunded in case of cancellation).
- Cancellations for holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc.) or High Season corresponding to the Boat Show days: will be accepted up to one week before the check-in date. “Locanda da Toto” reserves the right to charge the total amount due in case of cancellations made less than one week before the check-in date.
- No refund is due to guests who decide to interrupt a stay already begun and are therefore required to pay for the entire booked stay.
No-Show:
- In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained, or the full booking cost will be charged to the credit card provided as guarantee, subject to the rules set forth in the Cancellation Policy.
GROUP Booking and Cancellation Policy
- By making a booking, the person completing the process is identified as the group contact and confirms being authorized by other participants to agree to the Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy of “Locanda da Toto”. The group contact is responsible for the total billing for all bookings confirmed by them. Requests after the deadline must be communicated directly and exclusively by the group leader. Bookings do not allow modifications. It is therefore necessary to cancel your booking and make a new one.
Deposit:
- To confirm the booking, a deposit of 30% or 50% of the total booked services will be required. The confirmation deposit is never refundable.
Rooming List:
- The group contact is responsible for sending the final guest list as soon as possible and no less than 15 days before arrival.
- Any cancellations must be received in writing (via email). Canceled bookings will be subject to penalties as follows:
– up to 30 days before the arrival date, no penalty will be applied;
– from 29 to 15 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained and an additional penalty of 30% of the entire booked stay will be applied;
– from 15 to 7 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained and an additional penalty of 50% of the entire booked stay will be applied;
– from 7 to 0 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 100% of the entire booked stay will be charged. - In case of no-show or early departure, a penalty of 100% of the entire stay will be charged.
- Early departures will be charged for the entire booked stay.
Confirmation of the booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.
Force Majeure
- The management declines all responsibility for service disruptions due to supply failures, accidental equipment malfunctions, or other force majeure causes. All responsibility is declined for damages caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, illnesses, and theft.
