Internal Regulations of Locanda Da Toto
Dear Guest, in order to make your stay at our Locanda as pleasant as possible, we kindly ask you to carefully read the established regulations and codes of conduct.
Upon confirmation of the reservation, the following regulations are considered tacitly accepted; they are available in all our emails via the specific link and on our website. For anything not explicitly mentioned in this document, reference is made to current regulations, good taste, and common sense in the interest of everyone.
Failure to comply with one or more points of these regulations and the rules contained herein may lead to the termination of the contract with the resulting economic and legal consequences.
1. Personal Data
• Pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 30/06/2003 n. 196, all personal data of our customers will be processed both by computer systems and manually, for the sole purpose of fulfilling tax obligations (issuing invoices, recording data, etc.) and providing the requested service. The acquired data will not be disclosed but may be communicated exclusively to companies and/or professionals who will perform administrative, accounting, and marketing data processing tasks on behalf of Locanda da Toto.
• Upon arrival, guests must provide mandatory identification documents. Personal data will be transmitted to the police authorities, including those of minors.
2. Reservations
• Reservations can be made through our website (www.locandadatoto.it), by sending a written request via email (info@locandadatoto.it), or by telephone (010 – 2543879 / 375 – 5620089).
• For all information regarding reservations, we invite you to consult our Booking & Cancellation Policy, available on our website (www.locandadatoto.it).
3. Check-in
• Rooms will be available from 2:00 PM until 17.00. Check-in between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM will incur a surcharge of €20.00. It is not possible to check in after 20.00. The arrival time must be communicated at the time of booking; if the arrival does not coincide with the indicated time, we will do our best to accommodate the guest’s needs (luggage storage).
• The keys handed over at check-in must be returned directly to Reception. In case of loss, a payment of €5.00 will be required for the duplicate key.
4. Check-out
• Rooms must be vacated no later than 10:30 AM.
• The balance of the stay will be settled upon departure, and upon returning the room, the cost of any consumption/extra charges/tourist tax will also be paid.
• Guests departing early are required to pay for the room for the remaining days of the reservation pursuant to Art. 1385 – 1386 of the Civil Code and subsequent amendments.
• Guests wishing to depart during the night or in the morning before 8:00 AM must check out and settle any extras and tourist tax the evening before departure by 18.00.
5. Unregistered External Guests
• It is strictly forbidden to allow persons not registered at the Locanda into the rooms; visits must be authorized by the management and any guests must leave an identity document at reception.
• Visits involving overnight stays in the same room by external guests must be previously authorized by the Management. The rate as per the price list will be applied. All unauthorized persons found inside the Locanda will be reported to the Public Safety authorities.
• It is strictly forbidden to allow persons who have not been registered by authorized personnel to stay overnight in the room.
6. Common Areas
• The Locanda has a dining room and two outdoor seating areas.
• In the event that one of the areas is used for private events/lunches/dinners, room guests must use the remaining available spaces until the end of the event.
• During the night, it is not permitted to stay inside the dining room, but exclusively in the outdoor area in front of the entrance.
7. Garage
• Upon guest request, we have a garage available at a cost of €30.00 per day. The garage is located inside Marina Park (situated in front of the pier where our facility is located) on level -2. The guest will be provided with a card for the automatic opening of the barrier and a key to access the garage.
• Both the card and the key must be returned at the time of check-out.
• The management is not responsible and is not liable for any damage to the vehicle or theft.
• In case of loss of the card, a payment of €50.00 will be required for the duplicate.
• In case of loss of the garage key, a payment of €5.00 will be required for the duplicate key.
8. No Smoking
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and the facility. Smoking is permitted in open spaces or on the room terraces.
9. Harbor Regulations
• Access to the docks adjacent to the facility is not permitted.
• Out of respect for harbor users, we ask for respectful behavior regarding the spaces and silence, especially during night hours.
• It is strictly forbidden to throw waste or anything else into the sea.
10. Minors
• Parents of children or teenagers, or those exercising parental authority, are responsible for the acts committed by minors within the facility and are required to supervise them, ensuring they maintain correct behavior towards other guests and observe the obligation of silence.
11. Outdoor Areas
• Outdoor environments must be kept clean and tidy. Maximum cooperation is requested in respecting the vegetation surrounding the spaces.
• It is forbidden to pick lemons from the plants, as well as flowers.
12. Damages
• Any damage to the structure, objects, or furnishings of the Locanda will be charged to the account of the guest who caused it at the cost of restoration, and they will be held legally responsible.
• If, at the end of the stay, any accessories are missing from the rooms (such as cups, glasses, coffee machine, kettle, bottle opener, TV, etc.), the cost of the missing item will be charged to the guest responsible for its removal. The management reserves the right to proceed with a formal report if necessary.
• The management declines all responsibility for any injuries to minors not accompanied by parents/guardians.
13. Valuables Deposit
• The management declines all responsibility and is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to valuables or objects not kept inside the safes available in each room. Should the guest not consider the room safe suitable for the custody of personal valuables, the Locanda management offers a deposit and custody service. According to Civil Code regulations, the management is obliged to accept securities, cash, and valuables for custody but may refuse to store dangerous, bulky, or excessively valuable items.
14. Room Cleaning and Linen/Towel Change
• Bed linen is changed at every guest change. For those who wish to have bed linen changed daily, the request must be communicated to reception, and a supplement of €30.00 will be applied for this service.
• Any damage caused to the furnishings due to negligence will be charged at the cost of restoration.
• Our facility is eco-friendly; therefore, please place towels on the floor if they need to be replaced.
• Room cleaning and tidying will take place every morning upon the guest’s departure. If the room is still occupied until 11:00 AM, the tidying and cleaning service cannot be performed.
• For safety reasons, it is forbidden to use stoves, irons, etc., in the rooms.
• It is strictly forbidden to throw anything other than toilet paper (such as tissues, sanitary pads, wipes, etc.) into the toilet. Please use the provided bins. Costs for any necessary plumbing clearance will be charged to the guest.
15. Respect for Silence
• Between 11:30 PM and 7:00 AM, guests are requested to observe appropriate behavior to ensure that the rest of other guests and harbor customers is not disturbed. The use of television or radio is permitted at a moderate volume.
16. Pets
• Access for pets, including small ones, is not permitted.
17. Breakfast
• Breakfast will be served only upon request by completing the form available in each room. The form must be delivered to reception by 6:00 PM the previous day. The price for breakfast is €25.00 per person.
• Hours: from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
• Room service incurs a supplement of €10.00 per room.
• Guests with food allergies are required to notify the management in advance.
18. First Aid Kit
• The Locanda is equipped with a basic first aid kit (bandages, hydrogen peroxide, gauze, etc.) for minor needs located at the reception. For more serious problems, the guest can request our staff to contact emergency services.
19. Electricity Supply
• In the event of a suspension of the electricity supply due to third-party responsibility or other causes of force majeure, the Management declines all responsibility and is not liable for any refund.
20. Electrical Equipment
• The Locanda’s current is 220-volt alternating current. The guest must verify that their devices are suitable for this type of current. The management assumes no responsibility for any damage to equipment due to force majeure (sudden blackouts, power surges, etc.).
21. Tourist Tax
• The tourist tax of €3.00 per person per day is not included in the hotel rate and must be paid during check-in. The Locanda collects the tourist tax on behalf of the Municipality of Genoa.
