La nostra storia inizia in una cucina circa 60 anni fa.
Tutto parte da Toto.
He was only eleven when he first stepped into a kitchen. From small Calabrian pastry shops to ocean liners, he mastered the craft by traveling, working, and observing. Years of rigor, technique, and that very passion which, in 1999, gave life to our restaurant in the heart of the Porto Antico.
THE CHANGE
In 2020, we took it a step further.
We transformed the restaurant into a Locanda, reclaiming the noblest meaning of the term: a place where refreshment meets rest.
We felt something was missing. We wanted those who arrived here to stay, not just for dinner. We wanted them to wake up with the light on the harbor and experience this place with more time, without haste.

Today, alongside Toto, you will find me, Francesca
I grew up in the kitchen, among the scents and gestures of my father. From him, I learned respect for raw materials: our cuisine is Mediterranean, made of well-chosen ingredients and handled with care. A direct, sincere cuisine that accepts no compromises.
THE HOSPITALITY
But a locanda is not just about the kitchen. It is also about warmth and courtesy.
Here you will find Sandra and me. We have worked together for over twenty years.
We welcome you, we listen, and we help you discover a less obvious Genoa: the one made of details, the right spots, and the advice you won’t find in standard guides. You won't find a formal reception, but someone who truly knows you.

We chose to become a Locanda to unite everything we love: cooking, hosting, and creating memories. Here, time stands still to give you the chance to experience the port in a different way: closer, simpler, more real.
