Internal rules of the Locanda Da Toto

Dear guest, in order to make your stay at our Inn as pleasant as possible, we kindly ask you to carefully read the established rules and regulations.

Upon confirmation of your booking you are considered to have tacitly accepted the following regulations, available in all our emails via the specific link and on our website. For everything not explicitly mentioned herein, reference is made to current regulations, good taste and common sense in the interest of all.

Failure to comply with one or more points of these regulations and the rules contained herein may lead to termination of the contract with the resulting economic and legal consequences.

1. Personal Data
• Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 30/06/2003 n. 196, all personal data of our customers will be processed both through computer systems and manually, in order to carry out exclusively fiscal obligations (drawing up invoices, recording data, etc.) and provide the requested service. The data acquired will not be disclosed but may be communicated exclusively to companies and/or professionals who will carry out administrative, accounting and marketing data processing tasks on behalf of Locanda da Toto.
• On arrival, guests must be provided with identification documents. Personal data will be passed on to the police including that of minors.

2. Reservations
• Reservations can be made through our website (www.locandadatoto.it), by sending a written request by email (info@locandadatoto.it) or by telephone ( 010 - 2543879 / 375 - 5620089).
• For all information regarding bookings, please consult our Booking Conditions & Cancellation Policy, available on our website (www.locandadatoto.it).

3. Check - in
• Rooms will be available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Check-ins between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. will incur a surcharge of € 20.00. It is not possible to check in after 8 p.m. The arrival time must be communicated at the time of booking; if the arrival time does not coincide with the indicated time, we will do our best to meet the needs of the guest (luggage deposit).
• The keys handed in at check - in must then be returned directly to Reception. In case of loss, a duplicate key fee of € 5,00 will be charged.

4. Check out
• Rooms must be vacated no later than 10:30 a.m.
• The balance of the stay will be settled upon departure and when the room is returned the cost of any consumptions/extras charged/tourist tax will also be settled.
• Customers who leave in advance are required to pay for the room for the remaining days of the reservation in accordance with art. 1385 - 1386 cc as amended.
• Clients wishing to leave during the night or in the morning before 8:00 a.m. must check out, and pay the balance of any extras and tourist tax, the evening before departure by 6:00 p.m.

5. Unregistered external guests
• It is absolutely forbidden to allow persons who are not registered in the Inn to enter the room. Visits must be authorised by the management and any guests must leave an identity document at reception.
• Visits involving an overnight stay in the same room as guests, by outsiders, must be authorised in advance by the Management. The fee as per price list will be applied. Any unauthorised persons found inside the Inn will be reported to the Police.
• It is absolutely forbidden to let people stay in the room who have not been registered by authorised personnel.

6. Common areas
• The inn has a restaurant room and two outdoor dehors.
• In the event that one of the rooms is used for events/private lunches/dinners, guests in the rooms must use the remaining available space until the end of the event.
• During the night, guests are not permitted to stay in the restaurant room, but only in the outdoor dehor in front of the entrance.

7. Garage
• At the guest's request we have a garage available at a cost of € 30.00 per day. The garage is located in the Marina Park (opposite the pier on which our facility is located) on the -2 floor. Guests will be provided with a card for the automatic opening of the barrier and a key for access to the garage.
• Both the card and the key must be returned upon check-out.
• The management is not responsible and shall not be liable for any damage to the vehicle or theft.
• In the event of loss of the card, a duplicate fee of € 50.00 will be charged.
• In case of loss of the box key, a duplicate key fee of € 5.00 will be charged.

8. Smoking ban
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and on the premises. Smoking is permitted in open spaces or on room terraces.

9. Marina Regulations
• Access to the quays adjacent to the facility is not permitted.
• Out of respect for the users of the marina, we ask for respectful behaviour and respect silence, especially at night.
• It is strictly forbidden to throw rubbish or anything else into the sea.

10. Minors
• Parents of children or young people or those exercising parental authority over them are responsible for the actions of minors within the facility and are obliged to supervise them and ensure that they behave properly towards other guests and are obliged to respect silence.

11. Outdoor dehors
• Outdoor areas are to be kept clean and tidy. Maximum cooperation is requested in respecting the vegetation surrounding the spaces.
• It is forbidden to remove lemons from the plants, as well as flowers.

12. Damage
• Any damage to the structure, objects, or furnishings of the Locanda will be charged to the account of the guest who caused it at the cost of restoration and will be held legally responsible.
• If, at the end of the stay, accessories are missing from the rooms (such as cups, glasses, coffee machine, kettle, bottle opener, TV, etc.) the cost of the missing item will be charged to the guest guilty of stealing it. The management reserves the right to prosecute.
• The management declines all responsibility for any injuries to minors not accompanied by parents/guardians.

13. Storage of valuables
• The management declines all responsibility and shall not be liable for theft, loss or damage to valuables or objects not stored in the safes available in each room. In the event that the guest does not consider the room safe suitable for the safekeeping of personal valuables, the management of the inn offers a deposit and safekeeping service.Pursuant to civil code regulations, the management is obliged to accept cards, cash and valuables for safekeeping, but may refuse to keep dangerous, bulky or excessively valuable items.

14. Room cleaning and change of bed linen/towels
• Bed linen is changed at every guest change. If you wish to have bed linen changed every day, you must inform reception of your request and an additional charge of € 30.00 will be made for this service.
• Any damage caused to the furnishings through negligence will be charged at the cost of restoration.
• Our hotel is eco-friendly, so please place your towels on the floor if they need to be replaced.
• Rooms will be cleaned and tidied every morning when the guest leaves. If the room is still occupied until 11.00 a.m., the cleaning and tidying service cannot be carried out.
• For safety reasons, it is forbidden to use cookers, irons, etc. in the rooms.
• It is strictly forbidden to throw anything other than toilet paper (such as clinex, sanitary towels, wipes, etc.) into the toilet. Please use the litter bins provided. The costs for any flushing will be charged to the customer.

15. Respect for silence
• During the hours of 11:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., guests are asked to behave in such a way that the rest of other guests and marina customers is not disturbed. The use of television or radio is permitted with moderate volume.

16. Animals
• Animals, even small ones, are not allowed.

17. Breakfast
• Breakfast will only be served on request by filling in the form available in each room. The form must be handed in at reception by 6 p.m. on the previous day. The price of breakfast is € 25.00 per person.
• Opening hours: 08.00 to 10.30 a.m.
• Room service has an extra charge of € 10.00 per room.
• Guests with food allergies must inform the management in advance.

18. Medical box
• The inn has a first-aid kit (plasters, hydrogen peroxide, gauze, etc.) for minor operations located at reception. For more serious problems, guests may ask our staff to contact the emergency services.

19. Electricity supply
• In the event of suspension of the electricity supply due to third-party responsibility or other force majeure, the Management declines all responsibility and is not liable for any reimbursement.

20. Electrical equipment
• The current in the inn is 220 volts alternating current. Guests must check that the appliances in their possession are suitable for this type of current. The management does not accept responsibility for any damage to equipment due to force majeure (sudden blackouts, power surges, etc.).

21. Tourist tax
• The tourist tax of € 3.00, per day and per person, is not included in the hotel rate and must be paid at check in. The Locanda collects the tourist tax on behalf of the Municipality of Genoa.
