Please read the booking rules below carefully.

Every booking, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian law. The contract is binding for the person making the booking and for all other persons mentioned in the booking, including minors.

Booking

• You can book online by following the instructions on our website www.locandadatoto.it.
• Confirmation of the booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the data in said confirmation and to notify us as soon as possible of any anomalies. The communication must be received no later than 4 days after receipt. After this deadline we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.
• On arrival, it is obligatory to present an identification document for each person.
• To make changes to your reservation, please contact the reception staff, who will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee the fulfilment of such a request. If the reservation is changed to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is obliged to pay the difference.

Booking by phone or email

• You can book by sending an availability request by email ( info@locandadatoto.it) or by contacting us by phone ( 010 - 2543879 / 375 - 5620089) and wait for our reply.
• We will send you a (non-binding) offer following your request. The reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of our written communication, stating the total price of the stay and the amount of the deposit, which must be paid within 3 days from the date of our confirmation. If the payment is not made on time, the reservation is considered null and void. The reservation becomes binding for "Locanda da Toto" only upon receipt of a copy of the receipt of payment of the deposit or credit card details on which to make the authorised withdrawal. Send a copy of the payment by e-mail (info@locandadatoto.it).
• Locanda da Toto will then undertake to send the client a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in.

Payment

Accepted methods of payment: bank transfer and credit card.

Payment by bank transfer:

• A deposit (excluding tourist tax and optional services) is required no later than 3 days from the date of booking confirmation. If the deposit is not received by the specified dates, the reservation is null and void. The same applies to the balance. If the balance is not paid, the reservation will be cancelled.
• The amount of the deposit is 30% of the amount of the stay up to 3 nights, and 50% of the total amount for longer stays. As provided for by the Civil Code in Art. 1385, it will not be returned in the event of cancellation or no-show.
• The balance of the reservation must be paid, together with any extras, upon check-in.
• For payment by bank transfer we indicate the details below:
  Bank transfer payable to FRAMA SNC DI FRATEA A. & C. Banca Passadore & C. - Via Ettore Vernazza, 27 - Genova Iban: IT60C033320140000964741.
  Send a copy of the transfer receipt by email: info@locandadatoto.it indicating the date of your booking, your telephone number and email address, you will receive confirmation.

Payment by Credit Card:

• Locanda da Toto reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card prior to the customer's arrival by requesting a pre-authorisation from the relevant circuit. With the pre-authorisation, the inn guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part thereof, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS CASHED IN.
• Payment via POS will be made upon check-in.
• The pre-authorisation automatically expires 7 days after the requested date and the amount is released. In the event of a negative pre-authorisation, the customer will be notified and the reservation will be cancelled. In this case, the hotel will have no obligation to the customer.

Payment in advance, 'Non-Refundable':

• If this special rate is booked, the full amount is charged to the credit card or requested by bank transfer. The full amount is not refundable under any circumstances. Different payment terms may apply during certain periods. Please refer to your booking confirmation.

Extension of stay:

• Extension of stay requires an additional reservation and is subject to availability and rate changes.

Cancellation Policy (individual bookings)

• All booking cancellations must be communicated in writing. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the cancellation policy.
• For cancellations or changes made up to 5 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, no fee will be charged. For cancellations or changes made after this deadline, the credit card given as guarantee will be charged the total amount of the booked stay.
• This cancellation policy is not valid for the Non-Refundable discounted rate (in this case, the booking amount will be charged at the time of reservation and will not be refunded in case of cancellation).
• Cancellations for holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Easter etc.) or High Season corresponding to the days of the Boat Show: will be accepted up to one week before the check-in date. "Locanda da Toto" reserves the right to credit the total amount due in the event of cancellations later than one week before the check-in date.
• No reimbursement is due to the guest who decides to interrupt a stay that has already begun and is therefore required to pay for the entire stay booked.

NoShow: (non-presentation)

• In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained, or the credit card given as guarantee will be charged the full cost of the reservation, subject to the rules set out in the Cancellation Policy.

GROUP Reservation and Cancellation Policy

• By making a booking, the person who completes the process is identified as the group leader and confirms that he/she is authorised by the other participants to adhere to the Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy of "Locanda da Toto". The group contact person is responsible for the total billing for all bookings confirmed by him/her. Requests after the due date must be communicated directly and exclusively by the group leader. Reservations are not subject to change. It is therefore necessary to cancel your booking and make a new one.

Deposit:

• A deposit of 30% or 50% of the total amount of the booked services will be required upon confirmation of the booking. The deposit is never refundable.

Rooming list:

• The group contact person is responsible for sending the final guest list as soon as possible, but no less than 15 days before arrival.
• Any cancellations must be received in writing (by e-mail). Cancelled bookings will be subject to penalties as follows
  - up to 30 days prior to arrival no penalty will be charged;
  - from 29 to 15 days before arrival the deposit will be retained and an additional penalty of 30% of the entire stay booked will be applied;
  - from 15 days to 7 days before the arrival date the deposit will be retained and an additional penalty of 50% of the entire stay booked will be applied;
  - from 7 to 0 days before the arrival date a penalty of 100% of the entire stay booked will be charged
• In the event of a "no show" or early departure, a penalty of 100% of the entire stay will be charged.
• Early departures will be charged for the entire stay booked. Confirmation of the booking implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.

Force majeure

• The management disclaims all liability for disruptions due to lack of supply, accidental equipment failure or other force majeure. We accept no liability for damage caused by other guests, atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, disease and theft.
